kyle drake, the neocities guy™, published a blog post in 2023 about how he thinks AI is beneficial and blah blah blah
i do understand AI is a broad term and analytical AI can be very good for medical reasons etc., but one "good" use he listed was AI image generation. as an artist and person in general, i cannot in good faith support this
i'm moving to nekoweb, which blocks AI scrapers, and (i believe) is run by a team of people rather than just one guy. i also think this is good for decentralization in general
i started on neocities and i'll miss it, but... y'know.
